The new stuff...

Postby Bob D » Tue Nov 20, 2007 3:06 pm

I may be creatively challenged, so this is the reason for my question. First, I think the new HD back grounds are really cool. And on some nights I could probably look at them for hours. :cyclopsani: But can someone post how you would use them in a video project? I'm struggling with when and where I would use one. I've used the other back grounds, usually the satin background or color variation of it.

Three common uses:

1) As background for a DVD menu

2) As background for a title sequence

3) As background for a slideshow (with the slides scaled and positioned to look like they're floating over or moving across the background)

There are probably more, but those are the first that came to mind.

Good question Bob. I would like to know how others use the backgrounds too. The two new HD tennis ones I used with a title for each scene. Had to change the opacity and brightness so they would not overpower my titles. They would look great just on their own too as an intro to a movie. Looking forward to hearing other's ideas.
