Awesome film maker. Video of his vacation and he composed the music.

Man, is that gorgeously shot and edited! I wonder if he had a chance to actually enjoy his vacation while he was setting up all those shots.

Exactly what went through my head. It's a great piece, but a lot of work.

Reading the video page, the shots were all handheld with the 50mm. No IS on the lens. He doesn't say which 50mm and sure it isn't the cheap one. Most likely it is the expensive L series.

My my my, what a magnificent piece of work. As I watched in awe my heart was saddened for the people. What a blunder on our part, as well intentioned as it was. The first thing I noticed was nothing but antique vehicles to be seen. The ingenuity of those people is nothing short of amazing; they make 'em run like new. What a colorful race of people, surviving with their own brand of dignity and individuality. The variety life approaches, so subtle, yet so obvious, is a real credit living under the conditions they must. I'm wondering if the simplistic lifestyle they lead does not boon them better than our wealth and technological magnificence. "Boy Howdy" can they dance. :)
