I plan on going to see the shuttle after the exhibit opens. I don't want to fight the opening crowds though. I'll probably go sometime in the spring. Hopefully, things will be a little more settled then.

FYI, the costs were financed by donations, not taxpayer dollars.

The fund also covers the cost of building the new air and space center addition to the Science Center which will house the shuttle as well as other aeronautic and space artifacts.
