Lost my In a Snap Book!

Postby Kerrie » Tue Jan 29, 2008 1:06 am

I just had to share this with some of my friends here at Muvipix....I know you will understand my pain.

We are on our family vacation, I was so looking forward to just relaxing with the family and doing some major catching up with some reading in my In a Snap book....well, as we had a quick layover at the Houston airport I managed to set my In a Snap book down and leave it behind. UGH! ](*,) I can't tell you how spittin' mad I am!!!!!!!! I worked so hard to highlight and put sticky notes through out it.......so now I am heading to the link at Muvipix to Amazon to order me another one...I just can't live without! I know many of you will understand this pain I am experiencing! #-o

Kerrie

P.S. vacation is great other than that........

Kerrie, I feel your pain. Your book sounds a lot like mine. It's an essential tool for me.

The only consolation is that perhaps whoever found the book picked it up "in a snap" (pun intended), and will soon join our ranks.

I can see the post now... Hi, my name is so-and-so... I found this book in the Houston Airport...

I was more upset about the book than I was when my husband's costa del ray glasses broke! ](*,)

We are enjoying a week of beautiful warm weather in Kauai. After -29 at home last Thursday, being able to wear shorts and walk barefoot is like being in heaven. And, I have already gone through 2 video tapes and have hundreds of pix....I have video ideas just swirling around in my head!
So, it is essential that I have my book when I get home....I know I am going to need it!

Aloha,

Kerrie

By any chance did you check with the airport lost and found? I know there are many people who would just walk away with it, but I also know that there are a lot of good people out there. If I found a book that was as well-marked as that one I would turn it in, knowing that it was special to someone. I'm sure it's not replacing the book that was the problem, it was all the highlighting and markups that was done.

Wow, thanks Donna for trying to find my poor book! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy life to do that! :-D It was at the George Bush international airport. I haven't had much luck in the past trying to find lost items at airports....I set it on top of a garbage container as I rearranged stuff before dashing to our connection....where do you think that poor book ended up? I have a sad feeling it went from the top of the container, right into it....or maybe it was detonated by a bomb squad....looking suspicious sitting all alone on the garbage container? Mmmm....

I can see a video forming.......the journey of the "In a snap book"......

Not a problem, Kerrie. I was hoping it would have been Hobby. I think it has a better chance since it is a small airport.

I have been home for 2 days with a 6 yr. old with strep throat. It hasn't slowed her down or hindered her talking in anyway. She will be going back to school tomorrow.. I need a rest. LOL

Something tells me that, before she gets back from her trip, a new copy of the book will be sitting in her mailbox...

Great picture, Kerrie!

BTW, when you get back to Wisconsin, we've got lots of snow and wind waiting for you.
