I hadn't thought about filming it, but I suppose I should research how to do that.

Re: Sidd Finch

It's sad to hear about that.
His upbeat manner on the forum and the videos he posted gave no indication of his condition.
He will be missed.

Re: Advice please on new computer

The HP has a better screen and longer battery life.
The Asus has better graphics, an M.2 expansion slot, a num pad, a card reader, and customizable keyboard lighting.

Re: hard drive recovery

Another option, if you have an old external hard drive enclosure, is to temporarily remove the existing drive and replace it with the one you want to read.

Re: hard drive recovery

Happy Thanksgiving I have a device to recover my SATA drives but not IDE. When you say, "recover" do you mean "read"? If so, here is a Black Friday deal: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-FIDECO-Converter-5-25-Inch-DVD-ROM/dp/B077N2KK27/ref=sr_1_5?crid=BER6TZ7CW35H&keywords=ide...

Re: Analog Photography

The 110 was easier to load. I don't remember much about those cameras, as that was over 25 years ago. About 20 years ago, I found my 110 camera, and it still had a roll of exposed film in it that was taken twenty years or so earlier. I brought it to a darkroom that used to be across from my business...
