Glad you're up and running, Ted. And I'm so glad to hear they've addressed the issue.

Re: Copyright messageThat's actually a pretty detailed response, Ted. I'm impressed.
It doesn't make your job any easier of course. But at least you know CyberLink cares enough to respond.
Re: How to set up a project when using multiple file typesGlad you found a solution, Hammer. Though I'm sorry we couldn't help you find out why it happened in the first place.
Re: How to set up a project when using multiple file typesIt could also be related to the specs of the PIP file. Is it an MOV and from exactly the same source of the MOVs on your main video track?
We may need to dig into the specs of the file. Premiere Elements is a lot fussier with MOVs than with MP4s.
Re: Copyright messageThanks, Ted. Sorry I can't offer more for you. It sounds like a real annoyance.
Re: Copyright messageSorry I can't offer any help here, Ted. It might be worth posting this one to the PowerDirector forum at Cyberlink.

Re: Copyright messageHi, Ted. Our PowerDirector forum is right inside the CyberLink Corner sub-forum. That said, I've never experienced what you're describing so I can't duplicate it -- but it sure seems like a strange notification. I didn't know PowerDirector even had a copyright scanner, let alone why it would trigger...
Re: Diamond VC500 and capture softwareInteresting! Thanks for reporting back, Ted.
Re: Diamond VC500 and capture softwareGlad you were able to capture with PowerDirector.
I'm not aware additional profiles for saving video, but I'll continue to investigate. Take care.
Re: Diamond VC500 and capture softwareGood news, Ted! I think I may be onto something! Go to the Pot Player's menu by clicking the down arrow in the upper left. Navigate to Open, then Open Webcam/Other Device. This should make your video playback visible in the monitor. Then you can go back to the menu and select Video/Video Recording a...
Re: Diamond VC500 and capture softwareI have to be honest with you, Ted. My success with Pot Player has been sporadic. I honestly don't know why it works and why it doesn't. My most successful capture program is CyberLink's PowerDirector, which always works all the time and provides excellent results. Even an older (cheaper) version of ...
Re: capture sp mini DV.I'm not still using it but I have many old miniDV tapes and I sometimes want to capture from them. Do you have an IEEE-1394 FireWire connection on your computer? If so, WinDV will work. It's no longer being developed, but older versions are still available. (Make sure you click on the download link ...
Re: PE10_AVCHD to discIf you've got the original project files and video, you can output from Premiere Elements as 1920x1080 MP4s. You'll have to use a third-party program to create BluRay discs.
But you won't' be able to produce HD video from your DVD files since DVDs are standard definition.
Re: They said it would happen – and it did!!Jeez, Sherrin! What a mess! I'm so sorry you're laid up for 7 weeks -- but glad to hear there is no serious permanent spinal damage. For what it's worth, I"m working on a new batch of tutorials. But I hope you find something a bit more binge-worthy. Take care of yourself. I'm sure healing after...
Re: Tutorial suggestions? Those are good ideas, Cheryl. And Photoshop Elements has features for doing many of those things.
