Don't worry about not checking the FAQs, that's what we are here for. There are a couple of things you can try. Go to Edit/Preferences/Titler and make sure you have letters entered in the box. Just needs to be one upper case and one lower case like Aa. If that doesn't fix it then try a repair instal...
