I think Ron is looking to rip pre-recorded DVD's to MOV include on his Apple. But for PE "home movies" output to MOV is correct.

Great info Rob but I still think all that processing must in some way stretch the tape and or make the tape thinner due to the blades removing things from the tape. Good info but I will still stick with new tape.

I use iTool soft DVD ripper for the exact same reason and it works great for both PS and MAC.
