That's really odd, Vernon. I just tried downloading that file to see if I would have a problem with it also and it was fine. Normally you get that error message when the file either doesn't completely download or gets corrupted during the download. Did you download the file and then try opening it? ...

The premiere plugin version of Luce doesn't give many controls. The color of the rays is taken from the color of the track where you apply the plugin. If you place a line of text that has different colors for each letter, for example, as the origin of the light rays passes over the individual letter...

As Wheat King says, there is a HUGE render time hit. I don't use it much for that very reason. I wouldn't mind so much if it were just a problem when exporting or burning the end dvd. What gets to me is how long it takes to render while making the adjustments and keyframing to get the effect you wan...

Adobe has honoured a free upgrade to customers that recently purchased the latest version prior to a new release. I hope you're right! I'm waiting on the arrival of Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 right now :( Adobe has a history of providing the upgrade policy at the time of announcement and being fair...

You can certainly add Gradient Wipe to your favorites, but I'm with Chuck and Steve, there doesn't appear to be any way to save the photo and softness with it. However, I'd like to offer a tip that might make life a bit easier in using the gradient wipe. Once the gradient wipe is applied to a clip, ...

Ahh.. Thank you for the clarification. But I would think that a moderator would be a member. At the time of the previous contest, I was not a moderator or a muvipix member (only a registered forum user). Now I'm both. It only looks like I was a moderator at the time because the software shows the c...

I posted my writting effect in the gallery, if you don't mind, check it out and let me know what you think. What ways cant it be improved. Thanks. Looks good!, I think you've got it. There is still a little shimmer around the edges of the text. That's most likely caused by antialiasing in the gradi...

I've noticed that Adobe now has two separate upgrades for Premiere Pro listed on the Adobe Store site. When you click the "choose a version" drop down menu, you'll see one for upgrade from a previous version of Premiere Pro and one for upgrade from Premiere Elements. When you order, make s...

Ok, I've loaded a sample signature effect in the gallery along with the prel and all files (including the modified path psd). Please take a look at the "gradient script 2.psd" file and see if the path strokes in the proper direction for you. In CS2, it strokes properly. Let me know how it ...

I'll zip up the fixed file that strokes properly for me and upload it this afternoon when I get back. I'd like to know whether it strokes properly for you. If it doesn't, there may be an issue with CS3. Hope not, I'll be upgrading soon.

Hi, I just got back home and looked at the file. A noticed a couple of things. First, somehow you managed to get two path segments instead of one. That can happen a number of ways. Basically, you end one segment (probably inadvertantly in this case) and try to continue without picking up the end of ...

Don't have time for a full reply just now, but I wanted to acknowledge that I saw your post. If you put the PSD file in a zip file, you can upload it to the gallery. I'd like to see the file. The file alone won't tell me everything I need to know, but I could get some clues. Paths are stroked in the...
