Re: How Does This Work????

I do like the fact that, in the last screen, after you open the door to find your number -- if you open any other door after that, you'll find other numbers there.

All part of the smoke and mirrors, of course, but a clever flourish!

Re: Camera geotagging

The Organizer in Photoshop Elements already comes with a map feature in which you can tag photos so that you can locate them according places on a map of the world. Won't it be cool when that tagging happens automatically -- and rather than root through your photo files to find the pictures of your ...

Re: Video Editing

I'm not sure what's going on on your timeline either, Ted. Sceneline view should display each clip as a single photo. Timeline view should display your clips as clip durations, relative to time, with several video and audio tracks available by default or for addition. They should look like two very ...

Re: MUVIPIX membership benefits

That library, by the way, now includes several hundred items including stock footage, sound effects, DVD templates, tips, tutorials, royalty-free music and motion backgrounds. And, to give you an idea of how much we're adding regularly, wave your mouse over that "New Stuff Coming in February&qu...

Re: PE4 doesn't come up

I'll be interested to hear what Adobe says. Meantime, just so we've covered all bases here (It's the detective nature -- sorry), can you think of anything at all that could be a clue we may have missed? Did you have a trial version of the software installed, for instance? Have you installed any shar...

I'm with you, Bob.

By Christmas of 2009, this stuff will be selling for less than half the price! I'll wait it out.

Re: PE4 doesn't come up

I'm alarmed that all of these rather desperate measures haven't worked for you. There are few things that can't be fixed with an uninstall/reinstall.

It might well be time to call Adobe Tech Support, I'm afraid.

Re: PE4 doesn't come up

Go to My Documents/Adobe and delete the Premiere Elements 4.0 folder.

Then, when you launch the program, hold down the left Ctrl+Alt+Shift keys.

You're almost there, TJ!

Re: TV Commercial Production?

I second what Ken says. With DV source files, you'll get exactly the same quality out of Premiere Elements that you'll get out of Avid, Premiere CS3 or Apple Final Cut Pro.

In other words, if you don't tell, no one will know...
