I think the general feeling out there is definitely DON'T upgrade from XP to Vista -- unless your system came from the factory Vista ready. Reports from the field are that it seems to run well on computers that were built for it. It's just not worth all the liabilities to upgrade a current XP machin...

Norm, I've just looked over your photos, and they really are beautiful!

I just use the Auto Levels feature in Photoshop and they color-corrected beautifully! I'd definitely like to put those to use in some form.

By the way, where are the photos from? I recognize French on some of the signs.

I'd recommend that you do the de-interlacing as you pull the frames from your video. (You'll find settings for it as well as a few other useful settings for things like pixel dimensions and JPEG compression in by clicking the Settings button as you export your Freeze Frames.)
