Regarding using Version 3. Even though the 3.0.2 patch cures the slow response of PE3 in the Sceneline view it hasn't fully resolved the Timeline responsiveness. So in complex projects with many stills/videos it is best to avoid Video track 1. So put your media on Video track 2.

If you are using the FX1 then yes PE3 is a good move. Regarding the PIP and split screen these can easily be achieved and are the same as in PE2. Some of the tutorials should cover these. :)

Well it is my 50th birthday today so as a present to myself I bought the Neat Video Pro video noise reduction plug-in for Premiere. I have tried various techniques/software for video noise reduction with some what limited success. The MSU denoiser in VirtualDub that Ken put me on to works reasonably...

I dont know how Bill and Ken get away with using only 2MB of RAM :shock: and you both have no problems ...wish I could get away with that, I am using 2GB
