The idea is to pan and zoom within the photo and maintain quality. Look at it this way... your video frame size is 1920x1080... this can be moved around within the larger 2200x1235 photo. Hi, I can confirm there are no additional Effects, Transitions or Clip Art for Plus account holders, just Themes and Titles. And as Dave says the effects you are missing are the GPU ones that were removed after PRE7.

You can indeed use 1920x1080. The reason for 2200x1235 is to enable a little pan and zooming around the photo.
