I have a movie menu from a previous Premiere Elements (PE v10) movie that I made some time ago.
I would like to use that menu in my current movie. I have the .psd file if that is of any use.
How can I use that menu in my current PE v19 movie?

Re: Import movie menuIt sounds like you can just import the PSD file into your new project.

Re: Import movie menuAlthough if you want to install the movie menu as a movie menu, it gets a bit more complicated.
Here are the instructions for doing so. You'll just have to use version 18.0 instead of version 17.0 viewtopic.php?f=113&t=15698 HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro

Thank you for your response. Although I believe I followed your instructions, I cannot get one of my previous menus (.png file) to appear as a choice when I open Tools -> Movie Menu in Premiere Elements v19 To recap: I put my folder (ABB) containing the .png files into C:/PROGRAM DATA/ADOBE/PREMIERE ELEMENTS/16.0/ONLINE/DVD TEMPLATES/ALL_LANG/General The file does appear but it appears to be hung up on loading content. Note that I put a blank file named DOWNLOADED.TXT into both the General folder and in my ABB folder. Note also that in the ALL_Lang Folder, there is a text file called “manifest.text” which, according to the modified date is getting updated regularly. I tried adding an entry for my folder into “manifest.text” but it keeps getting overwritten when I access Tools -> Movie Menu. What am I doing wrong? Second question: Can I put a menu AFTER the first title in the video?
Re: Import movie menuI can't tell without seeing your computer, abb. Although, if you are putting the folder into Adobe/Premiere Elements/16.0 rather than Adobe/Premiere Elements/18.0, you are not loading it into Premiere Elements 2019.

Re: Import movie menuSteve,
Thank you for your response. I have prepared the images you asked for but I can't seem to post them. How do I post a jpg image? I tried drag & drop but that doesn't work. Note that when I installed PE v19, a folder labeled 17.0 was installed inside the program tree. No other similarly labeled folder was installed. Is this a problem?

Re: Import movie menuI don't see any of the PSD disc template files in this folder, abb. All I see is a couple of PNG thumbnails.

Re: Import movie menuSteve,
I am trying to install a menu template that I used in a movie a long time ago. I don’t remember where I got the original from. I believe I solved the problem after I read your latest reply. I replaced the .png files with their .psd equivalent. That fixed the problem. The new menu choice appears under the “General” category. Thanks very much. abb
Re: Import movie menuGreat news, abb!
