I loved it, professional, rich and simple.
I wish I had your voice, so fluent and secure !
Some sequences reminded me of my dream of tonight and (ehm!) this morning.
Are they the places of your childhood?
I feel some deep souvenirs in your vision.

Re: Idea for video contestThis is the scenario around my house,
I am glad to introduce you to our way of life too. We don't mind if we're not always fit, no mind to be clumsy now and then, we just move in harmony with mother Earth's energy. If you dance with us you will understand how we can fly around our ancient certitudes, and if you melt with us you will understand how you too can fly.
Re: Idea for video contestThank you all for you kind words - I'm a bit "off grid" at the moment so takes a while to catch up. English accents are - as Hollywood teaches us - either a sign of genius or total evil (and often both) - You'll have to decide which category I fall in to.
Franchesco - I like the mood you have captured with your video - some lovely small details captured like that chap crossing his legs - in my mind - at a bar (possibly a coffee bar). Makes for a nice feeling of the place. - Lastly no - I have no real history for the place in the video. I just happen to have lived there for the last few years. Intel Core i7 8700 - 32GB DDR4 - 500GB Evo 970 SSD - 3+2 TB HDD - GTX 1080- MSI Z370 Pro - Win10 64 bit - Cannon HV30 (PAL) - Sony A6000 - GoPro 3 Black
Re: Idea for video contestChris I would say Genius! Reminds me of James Bond.

Re: Idea for video contestCheryl, I agree about Chris' touch of class, a short documentary in the great tradition (exactly one minute, wow!) .
Definitely "our" is the attribute that moves me most, I greatly appreciate
Re: Idea for video contestGood work Chris! I know, I know..you do commercials for a living, huh. I think it'd be neat to have a "One Minute" contest. Uh, is my minute already up?

Re: Idea for video contestChow Francesco. Hmm some how I think I got something wrong here. That's what you call poetry in motion...

Re: Idea for video contestNice job Cinde! Been there a couple of times motorcycling. The Nada tunnel is a bit treacherous on a bike due to the rough and slippery driving surface that's difficult to see in the dark. And that sky bridge....well, my fear of heights got to me. I couldn't even bring myself to walk out on it very far. Embarrassed to say that my wife went farther than I did. For those who are wondering, it's a sheer drop on either side that's not readily apparent from the video (see photo below). You don't want to stray too far to either side because once you're on the slope it's pretty much all over. People have died there. It's a beautiful area though and some great riding country. Thanks for the memories Cinde. Was that you at the end on the sky bridge?

Re: Idea for video contestThanks Dave! Yes that is me doing my victory dance after I completed the terrifying walk across the bridge. The first time I tried and failed was over 30 years ago... and it had a handrail on the middle then!
If you are ever in the area again, contact us. It's only 2 hours from where we live and we go there few times a year. We sometimes drive there just to eat at Kathy's Country Kitchen in Clay City... great "fried green tomatoes". How far are you from Hocking Hills, Ohio? It is another of my favorite places to spend a few days.
Re: Idea for video contestNever saw it with the handrail. The first time I was there was in the early 90s. I'd be less likely to do it now than then, so I likely never will. There was a Rider (magazine) motorcycle rally in Richmond and we went on a day trip as a group. Since then I've been back just touring with the two of us. We're about 2 1/2 hours from Hocking. Columbus is directly in the path, so you either have to go around or through and either way takes extra time. We were down there for just a day trip to Ash Cave last fall. It's a great area. Steve Grisetti's alma mater is right near there at Athens - Ohio University.
