Burner not detectedApparently, my computer does not have a Blu Ray burner to go along with my Blu Ray disk player/writer. When I go to Publish/Share option and select DVD I can see the burner option. When I select Blu Ray I cannot see a burner. Message says burner not detected. Need to find burner software compatible with PE 11 & 12?
Re: Burner not detectedFirst make sure your BluRay disc drive is CAPABLE of burning a BluRay disc. It may not be. (And your software seems to indicate it can burn DVDs only.)
If your disc drive isn't capable of burning a BluRay, new software will not make it capable. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Burner not detectedIt's very common for computer manufacturers to install Blu-Ray player/DVD burners in their systems. They can read Blu-ray discs, but they cannot burn them. It sounds like that is what you have. But, you should verify that. If that is the case, you will need to either replace the original drive with one capable of burning Blu-Ray discs or add one as a second burner.
Re: Burner not detectedThanks for the info. I learn something every day.
Re: Burner not detectedIf it has been mentioned before please excuse me, for HD video output what is the capacity(hr/min) of a single sided blank Blu Ray disc?
Re: Burner not detectedAbout 2 hours.
