St Clare of Assisi

Postby sidd finch » Sat Jul 13, 2019 10:15 pm

Having some fun practicing flying around a statue in a local park. Silicon Valley in in the county of Santa Clara which is named after St Clare of Assisi. Comments always welcomed. Enjoy

Sidd, you are truly the best advertisement I've ever seen for drones!

(Although those little round things in the fountain kind of make me hungry for deviled eggs for some reason.)

Steve thank you for the very kind words. It is truly appreciated. It is a labor of love to try to be as smooth as possible. What David Gilmore is to guitar is what I am striving for flying the drone. And I must say that Parrot ANAFI is really a winner in my book.

I was thinking stuffed mushrooms but the food reference is quite appropriate. Tuesday Will be St Clare's 825th birthday but she does not look a day over 675 if you ask me. :hyst:

So peaceful, so nicely edited. David Gilmore? I wouldn't have known until you told me. Pretty cool. I especially like that last long shot where you went straight up and were looking down on the statue. Great job!

Thank you Paz and Dave for the kind comments.

Sorry Dave I was not clear. The music I used was not a piece by David Gilmore. I was implying that David Gilmore is such a smooth guitar player in general that I aspire to be a smooth drone flyer as well. Sorry for the confusion I caused.

I understand now. Funny thing is, I could have been talked into believing that the guitar in that music WAS David Gilmour. Many similar characteristics.

Dave the guitar in this piece does have some similarities to David Gilmour (sorry for the mis-spelling).

I misspelled it too, first post. We're all human, last I knew. :)
