I thought this was interesting to use a drone to capture the action of some radio controlled Slope Racing gliders in Great Britain.

Drones are being used more and more effectively to capture amazing footage in ways we never really could before.
3.6 ghz i7-7700 running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit with 16 gigs RAM and a 2 terrabyte HD. Also iMac 2.6 ghz dual-core, 4 gigs of RAM, running OSX El Capitan and Boot Camp Windows 10 64-bit.

I agree, it gives a really interesting perspective to regular footage. Even watching TV shows there are so many that incorporate drone perspective into the show.

Yep, I'll sometimes turn to my wife while watching TV and say something like, "That was done with a drone." or "That was some pretty cool use of a drone."
Often there'll be shots that wouldn't have been possible before drones came along and when I see something like that it really catches my eye.

I suspect that the use of drones has also reduced the production costs for some commercial applications.
