ProShow Gold Output to AVI

Postby Bobby » Sun Mar 01, 2009 2:11 pm

I decided to download and play with the ProShow Gold demo version. Interesting.

I tried to output to AVI, and the output options for that seem to be missing. The HELP says you can select an AVI option from the Video File selection. But I don't see it there in the list, and if you select Custom it's not there either. Is this a change in V4, or a limitation in the free demo?

What are you all using as an ProShow output for import into PRE7?

Bobby,
If you look about 1/2 - 2/3rds down this thread you will see RJ has a work around on this.

Thanks. Now that you mention it, I do remember Robert's post on that.

Bobby,
Glad to see that you have received a good work around for your question. ProShow Producer can output AVI, but Photodex did not put that functionality directly into Gold. I think they are using it as a feature to separate the higher end product from the intro product.
