From back in my Hollywood days. Here's a snippet of me with my wife Jeanne and daughter Sarah having lunch in Century City.

Mamma Mia that's a good hotdog! Looks like a great time. Isn't it wonderful to have video like this to bring back the memories? That's what it's all about.

When I look at old videos/photos I realize I still see the people in them today as they were then :-D

Did you use a VHS or Beta-Max camera for this?

I went the road less traveled, ed. Sony 8mm. My earliest digital camcorders were even Digital8, which used the same little cassettes to record an hour's worth of DV-AVI. But even that e earlier analog camcorder had the advantage of little tape cassettes -- so the camcorder was the size of a small trumpet rather than a bulky over-the-shoulder rig like the ones that recorded VHS then.

Steve that was a really cool look back in time. And who can go wrong with a dog. These are such neat time capsules. Although I think Jeanne deserves a shout out. Countless years of being in the shot of ...... "that camera" lol. All while doing it with grace. Good on you both....

Actually, over the years she's just learned to trust me. My camera only sees the best in people.

That was a nice camera back in the day.

I liked how you sat your kid on the pavement and she wandered around. People would call social services on you for that now :-D

Also, your accent seemed different then now, almost Brooklyn.

The "accent" was probably just exhaustion. I was a new parent at the time and putting in 11 hour days at work.
