Question on USB card reader

Postby sidd finch » Thu Feb 18, 2021 1:08 pm

This is an odd one I am hoping someone might have a solution for. I have a Lexar SD card reader (Lexar LRWM03U-7000 microSD UHS-I Card Reader USB 3.0) I use it to copy file from my GoPro to my computer. For this task it works great. But when I attempt to use another SD card from a different camera The card is not recognized on the computer anymore. This used to work but has stopped. Not sure how to troubleshoot. Both cards used to work fine in the past.

I guess the most straightforward conclusion would be that the second card has gone bad. Does it work in another computer?

That's the ting when I put the other SD card in a different reader it works fine. It is just strange.

I had a card reader go bad recently. The CF part still worked, but not the SD slot. At first I thought it was a bad card and process of elimination the card reader on the printer read the card fine. I have the Hoodman Steel https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N8 ... UTF8&psc=1
