Mom that Kaldi coffee sounds like a pretty tasty coffee.

I have not tried the Guatemalan coffee but we did have some Peruvian coffee that was also pretty strong.

More about the Ethiopian coffee...When we visited Ethiopia many years ago, when you ordered coffee in any of their restaurants, they would make a big show out of serving it. First they would grind the roasted beans at your table then brew it right in front of you. It was the best coffee we ever had tasted and later Safeway market carried the Ethiopian roasted beans for awhile. Can't find it anymore.

Yes,that describes the ceremony that was performed at the dinner table. Now that I recall, they roasted the beans at the table just like in that ceremony.

I'm kind of boring, I like 8 O'Clock coffee beans. Most of the others are to bitter for me.

Nope, Gerry. The design is old but one can still buy them today in one, two, four and six espresso (i.e. small) cup sizes. Mine is a four cup.

Just enter "moka pot bialetti" into Amazon and you can find plenty for sale.

John that is a pretty cool coffee pot. I like that retro look and it looks pretty simple to use. I ordered a French press so I will have to share a video of that coffee experience. :gl:

No disrespect but I love Italian coffees,

I don't know if any of you ever watched Gilmore Girls, American TV Show. One of the characters was Luke (played by Scott Patterson), he owned the diner in town and was the love interest of the lead character Lorelai. Well Scott now sells coffee and this is what my sister and her husband serve at their Bed and Breakfast in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Ah. Turkish offee.

I have never tasted the real thing but one of my Sicilian friends describes it as "si beve e si mangia" (one drinks and one eats).
