Gotta love the internet, can't imagine how we managed without it sometimes.

I’ve heard so much about it and have been thinking of checking it out one of these days. Anybody else here ever tried the Internet?

Poor Al. He just doesn’t get the recognition he deserves for inventing the Internet.

Poor Al, that's going to outlive him. Too bad, he probably could have used a better choice of words, he was referring to his legislative support. His 1991 bill directly led to the National Information Infrastructure which was essential for today's Internet. That bill also funded the lab where the Mosaic browser was developed. Al didn't invent the Internet, but without his initiatives in Congress, the Internet would be a much different place. 'Nuff said.
