Gear Best Slider

Postby sidd finch » Tue Jan 22, 2019 8:52 pm

I have been trying to incorporate some slider camera views in my video work but I am just too "Mr Fumbles" when it comes to smooth slides. Then I came across this and it looks pretty intriguing.

That makes it even better. It looks to be designed for small cameras and smartphones which is right in my wheelhouse. I also like that you can purchase additional track for the thing. From the videos I have seen I especially like how it is used in time lapses.

Well the slider came and I really like it. The motor noise is noticeable but an external mic will fix that or mute and add a sound bed. Tried to do a quick test but I need to take some more time to get the lens set up better.

Funny you say that John, I asked their union representative and there was such an uproar in the bee hive that they threatened to put a tariff on honey production. Then they all started chanting... Build the hive build the hive...

I ran for my life. The ants are much more terrestrial bound and eager to so they as so good natured... :hyst:
