Converting from PSE12 to PSE18

Postby Bob D » Mon May 28, 2018 8:45 am

Hello! It has been a long time since I have been on. I'm just glad to remember the URL?

As you can tell from the topic I don't buy and upgrade Adobe too often. I have really cut back on any video editing, but I still capture a lot of pictures from my travels. I remember when I went from PSE12(?) to PSE14 that some of my catalog was screwed up e.g. files not cataloged or missing or cataloged twice.

So I know PSE18 has been out a while and just wondering how anyone's conversion from prior releases (PSE14 in particular) went and if there were any "gotchas" that I should be aware of.

I can't imagine you'll have any problems upgrading a catalog from version 14 to version 2018. But we can certainly put this out there and see if anyone can relate any personal experience.

Thanks Steve. I didn't think I would have problems last time either, but I did. I need to upgrade my computer memory a bit first, but after that I'm considering upgrading PSE too.

Thanks!
