Downtown Panorama

Postby sidd finch » Sat Dec 30, 2017 2:32 pm

I thought I would share this panorama picture I took this morning of downtown San Jose. The building on the left is the Adobe corporate headquarters. I really like the way the sunrise reflects off the buildings.

Very nice, Sidd! Love the "magic hour" color tones.

The magic hour indeed. I can see why the professionals like this time too. For me the added bonus is that not too many people are up at this time so It makes it easier to try to get some cool images.

It's the magic hour for me if I can be in bed at that time of the morning.

I know that you are often up and about during the "daft o'clock" hours, Dave.

I am normally on line at around 07.00 - 08.00 UK time which is about 5 (?) hours ahead of you and I often notice that you are online here on the forum.

Yeah, you're right about that John. I tend to wake after about 4 or 5 hours and not be able to get back to sleep. With some of the best quiet time at that hour I often take advantage of the opportunity to work or browse. Then later I'll go back to bed and finish out my sleep. Not my preference, but it seems that the aging process demands certain considerations.

I have reached the point in my life when I am only too aware of that truth!!

Being able to go out and enjoy trying to make a movie without being around 100,000 other people is my motivation. But, .......I have been known to enjoy the weekend 2:00 pm nap while the video is rendering.... :-D

Beautiful Sidd! The image looks sharp and vibrant. Did you have to use a de-noiser?

Thank you Mom.

It is just the pictures straight from the camera and photomerged in Photoshop.
