I agree. So very true. And I'm not at all nostalgic for that old chemical age. I've got a handful of old Super8mm adventure films I made in high school that attest to that. Among other things, I had to wait a week for my films to be processed to see if I got the shot!

I'm truly beginning to feel like a relic myself. Thanks a lot Sidd!

What?? There was film before digital? Who knew! :-D

I do remember the old photo booths in parking lots where you dropped off the roll. Then the great anticipation when you picked up the photos a week later!

Now that might be a cool video to watch with your Narration on top of it.

I must say I do hate the vernacular of "selfie" I liked it better when you asked someone to "take your picture". I guess now days you run the risk of having someone steal your smartphone if you asked them to take your picture.

I can't tell you how many times I've been tempted to clean up and re-edit those movies, Sidd -- before they fall apart completely. But they were so awful that, every time I try, I get frustrated and toss them aside again. It's less like looking at an old high school yearbook and more like rereading what you thought were great stories you wrote as a teenager.

I can relate to the frustration but...... How cool would it be under the framework of a Mystery Science Theater 3000 approach.

Still got my OM-1 and some lenses but three or so years ago I did manage to sell on Ebay my Durst colour enlarger and all of my other darkroom stuff for a reasonable price to a photography student. :-D

While on the subject. I was wondering if an enlarger could work for shooting shots vertically with a camera. There are certain things I need to shoot that way, but I'm not steady enough. I also have a mic stand and was wondering if there's an attachment for mounting a camera. I think that would do the trick.
