ADD CLIP TO FINISHED DVD PROJECT?

Postby Simon Silverstein » Tue Apr 07, 2015 4:30 pm

I have a PE 12 project that was copied multiple times to a number of DVDS. I now find that I have left out an important text (in the credits). Can I make a new short project file and add it to these already completed DVDS? If not, is there any other way to add material to completed DVD projects?

You will have to edit the project and burn new DVDs.

Unfortunately, been there, done that. #-o

So if I no longer have the original project as a file in my computer, that would mean I would have to copy the DVD containing the project into PE12 on my pc and then add new material to what I've copied, and then burn new DVD's containing the new material. Is that right? And if so, would there be any loss in quality?

Hi Simon, You have it right, lots of extra work I know but not really any other way. There shouldn't be any quality loss importing and export one time. I have multiple projects where I am importing and exporting various clips to be used in a master project, no problem with quality loss.
