exporting 1080 60i to best quality but small file size

Postby meric1 » Mon Mar 14, 2016 10:03 am

hello everyone,

I am trying to figure out what the best settings would be to publish a 1080 60i video from Premiere Elements 10 with the best quality and smallest file size.

Should I just use the presets but the file size is about 4gb? should I change any of the settings? Please help. I do not need to put this on a dvd or blue ray it needs to be viewed on a computer either from a website or usb.

thanks eric

What do you plan to do with the file once you output it, Eric?

If you're going to use it as source video in another movie project, there are other things to consider besides file size. In fact, a smaller file may not give you the best quality.

On the other hand, if you plan to play this video on a computer or post it to YouTube, Vimeo, etc., you don't want to create an interlaced (60i) file.
