Motion Menu Buttons in the Disc Menu Area

Motion Menu Buttons in the Disc Menu Area

Postby Johnny » Tue Jul 03, 2012 10:02 pm

Can anyone explain what the "Motion Menu Buttons" refers to in the Disc Menu area?

In the Audio area of the Disc Menu, I'm trying to allow my selected audio clip play for more than the 29:29 seconds that appear there, but it isn't allowing the audio clip (which is 4:23) play for longer than that. Is that the limit for how long audio will play in the Disc Menu?

Motion menu buttons are buttons that are more than a still frame, they actually show a few seconds of video playing.

The DVD standard for audio on a menu is 30 seconds and Premiere Elements sticks strictly to that rule.
You cannot add more than 30 seconds of audio to any menu. Now you can do that in other programs, Encore DVD for example. Possibly in DVD Architect also, but not in Premiere Elements, sorry :(

Chuck,

I was afraid that's what it was. I might try to see if Windows Movie Maker allows for longer than that for audio.

At least I know that there's nothing else that I can try to change it in Elements.

Thank you!
