Update of ToneBooster Audio FX's

Update of ToneBooster Audio FX's

Postby RJ Johnston » Fri May 18, 2012 5:09 am

Some of my favorite audio effects that I purchased from ToneBoosters wouldn't work in Premiere Elements 10. ToneBoosters recently came out with updates, and now they are working again in PRE10. The VST plugins and licences have to be copied to the Premiere Elements VSTplugins folder.

Some of their VST effects are free. You can even use the demo versions, but until you register, the settings aren't saved with the PRE10 project.

One of my favorites is the TB_Isone effect. To reduce wind noise, I use the "Laptop" preset, and then adjust the tweeter diameter setting and the speaker angle setting.

Then another favorite is the TB_EBULoudness meter which I use to determine if the audio throughout the entire movie is averaging minus 23 LSU, according to EBU publication Tech 3343-2011v2. This plugin doesn't apply any effects to the audio, it just analyzes the audio and displays meters.
