Magix Add-ons

Postby patrickblue » Thu Aug 13, 2020 12:47 pm

After upgrading from 16 to 17, I see there are a lot of add-ons bundled with Magix.

I've removed one already because it conflicted with putting my computer to sleep, but do you have suggestions for keeping/removing the others? I hate having even the smallest of programs I won't be using cluttering up my computer.

I'm using version 17 with all the whole package of Movie Studio Platinum add-ons and I'm not having any problems. Which one gave you trouble?

Or are you talking about software other than Vegas Movie Studio? Magix does sell several products, including Vegas Pro, Video Edit Pro and Magix Video Pro X.

I can't remember now that I deleted it, but it was something like Magix CPU Performance & ?. It was stopping my computer from going into sleep mode.

When I installed the upgrade I specifically excluded some things (like Music Maker) but that and a few others were installed. I'm just wondering if there is any bloatware I should be aware of.

Not that I'm aware of. I'm certainly not having any problems and I've got the entire platinum package installed for Movie Studio.

Although you still haven't said which program you're asking about. As I said, Magix distributes several.
