One or the other..

I have both Power Director16 and Vegas Pro16. I am sure both are fine programs, but I think it'd be wiser to concentrate on only one. I've been working in PD to start with and find it a bit difficult to work with; hard to find things I think I'm looking for, and at this point maybe it's just me. I haven't worked in Vegas in over a year because of the medical stuff that happened, but it seemed a great deal easier. Easier isn't what I'm looking for; the better of the two I presume. Any thoughts on this appreciated. I'm willing to throw myself into the maelstrom. I just need some opinions of the Pros here. Thanks.

It's hard to give an objective answer, Buddy. They are both excellent programs. One is not fundamentally superior over the other. It all depends on which workflow better matches the way you like to work.

I've got Basic Training tutorials for both on this site. It might be worth watching them to see which feels more like your style.

You can't go wrong with either one. And within a week or so of adopting one, you'll likely love whichever you've chosen.

That was what I was looking for Steve; will check the tutorials and make my decision. Thanks one more time.
