Vegas Pro 14.0

Postby Richardmotsch » Wed Oct 26, 2016 7:17 am

I have the new Vegas Pro 14.0 and I can't find out how to get my finished video over in to the DVVD Architect program. In the Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13. There is a (make movie button) at the top screen, but I can't find anything in the Vegas Pro 14.0. I sure appreciate all the help. Thank you very much

I have not experience with the new Magix version of the program. However, in Pro 13, you used the Render As option under the File menu.

So far I've not had enough confidence in MAGIX VEGAS Pro 14 early builds to upgrade. Assuming the MAGIX versions work like previous SCS versions (forgetting the exclusion of AC3 Pro) you should probably read this Help item
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/web ... hitect.htm

and these articles from the old SCS Knowledgebase
https://www.custcenter.com/app/answers/ ... a_id/1105/
https://www.custcenter.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/84/

At least the first of of those articles is copied (verbatim with typos) to one of the various Support/FAQ pages on MAGIX sites.
Beware, those sites are something of a maze and I personally get lost there every time trying to navigate.

And as Steve says, there's no Make Movie in VPros and you need to go to File > Render As to find the templates.
The Sony Vegas Pros allowed burning from the timeline by going to Tools > Burn disc. That option may still be with MAGIX.

13 is adequate in most cases, and I'm not likely bother with the Magix/Sony stuff in the future.

When you are in DVD Architect Pro, you can follow the interactive tutorial on building a DVD or Blu-ray project. Under the Help menu, select Interactive Tutorial. A list of tutorials will pop up. Scroll to the bottom of the list where you will find a link for DVD or Blu-ray disc projects.

It's just the same procedure in Vegas Pro 12 as it is in Vegas Pro 14, I presume. I have Vegas Pro 14 Edit and DVD Architect Pro 6. Hopefully the help links are still intact with the DVD Architect Pro version you get with Vegas Pro 14 from Magix.
