Are there any plans by Sony to update to Movie Studio 13 ? If so when would this be released please.

That's really something only Sony knows, prem.
I would expect so, since they've been updating their software every 1-1/2 to 2 years. But only Sony and their beta testers know -- and they've all signed non-disclosure agreements.
What are you looking for in the new version?
