Vegas and Premier Elements

I thought I saw something in the book somewhere at a point, but haven't found it again. The question I have is Premier Elements compatible with Vegas?

What do you mean by "compatible?"

If you mean if you can have both installed, yes.

I left out can you apply what you've done in Elements to your Vegas movie, compatibility possibility.

Vegas can't read premier elements files - so you would have to export a movie from Elements to use it in Vegas (and vice versa). Both programs provide a similar toolset for editing movies.
