DVDAS button highlight- outline instead of underline?

Postby Peru » Wed Dec 15, 2010 8:38 am

I would like to have the highlight for a menu button (either just the text, or the text plus a graphic to the left of it, which is part of the button) to be a rectangular outline (as opposed to a solid rectangle).

The closest that I have been able to do is to have the graphic and text underlined. ](*,)

I tried to make a custom mask, but the outline is just being applied to the graphic, and is centered within the graphic (a snowflake) rather than outlining it. I tried to increase the size of the mask, but it doesn't change its appearance in the menu. :???:

Can I do this in DVDAS?

If it can't be done, can I apply the underline highlight to only the text, and not the graphic?

There seems to be a lack of control in this area in what is otherwise an excellent program. I have had it in mind to just do some studies to figger it all out, but never got to it.

You should be able to use a Custom Mask to create a highlight in any shape you want, Bob.

Though you're right, you do have limited control on where it appears.

Steve it right as I use this feature all the time. However the shape will be solid as far as I have seen. I don't think you can just have the outline.

Thanks, guys.
Not what I wanted to hear, but I'll make the best of it.
