No narration

A new addition to Muvipix, with support and discussion of Sony's DVD Architect Studio.

No narration

Postby Richardmotsch » Mon Apr 18, 2016 11:01 am

I have really great narration on my DVD in Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13. But when I move it to DVD Architect Studio 5.0 all my audio tracks are great, but I have on narration track. I have made other DVD's and haven't have any problems with my narration.

Surely you mean that all your other audio is great on the one DVD Architect Studio 5.0 audio track, but you have no narration?
Besides knowing your workflow from MSP to DVD A Studio, a screenshot of your MSP timeline might help.

I took care of the problem, it was real easy. I just rebooted my computer and my narration worked great. I have a feeling that rebooting the computer can fix a lot of audio and video problems.

And other problems as well. It's the first thing that scripted support lines tell you to do.
It didn't help my arthritis, though. :(

Consider me another convert to the reboot camp. I had been working on trying to get DVD Architect to load my .ac3 and mpeg-2 files onto the menu page. At best, only the sound from the first portion of the mpeg-2 would play. I'd click on subsequent markers and only heard the sounds of silence. I go back and re-render, and try again, but still no joy. So I come to muvipix to read your approach....and golly it worked for me!

All my problems should be solved by rebooting, but I know that won't happen, and just glad I can move fwd one small step towards my goal of making a DVD. :exc:

I think it must be a metaphor for life, super8.

When all else fails, stop and reset.
