Blue Ray format on a DVD

Postby TreeTopsRanch » Mon Oct 22, 2012 6:42 pm

Steve, you may want to revise your tutorial on this page: http://muvipix.com/dvdas5.php . The method shown is no longer valid for recent updates of DVD Architect. You can still do it but it requires burning a ISO file to a virtual drive then using AVCHD patcher to modify the index.bdmv files and then burning with Imgburn to a DVD.

A little more complicated procedure but it does work.

To the newbies here: you can only play the resulting DVD in a Blue Ray player.

Yep. You're correct. Sony did disable the ability to burn a BluRay file to a DVD.

We'll remove that tutorial.
