Menus in DVD Architect Studio 5??

Postby Little Nac » Fri Jan 27, 2012 2:03 am

Hi Guys.
I now have the DVD Architect Studio 5 Program. I have watched and worked along with Steve's Tutorials and have also watched and worked along with some from You Tube. I think for the Menus it is fantastic, but I don't really want it for Vieo Editing, as I am using PE10. All the Tutorials seem to point in the direction that it is actually a Video Editing Program. Is there any way that I can do up a custom menu in DVD Architect and use it in PE10. If so, how do I export it?
Thanks in advance.
L.N. :-D

DVD Architect Studio is a DVD authoring program, not a video editing program. The intended workflow is to edit your movies in a video editor, such as Premiere Elements, and export the finished edited movies to your computer. Then, you would use DVD Architect studio to design the DVD menus, link them to the videos, and then create the actual dvd files in the proper format to burn to a disc. Any editing capabilities the program may have are very rudimentary and are not a substitute for a full featured video editing program.

Premiere Elements does have a basic DVD authoring capability, but it is very limited compared to DVD Architect Studio. People who need more capability and control than Premiere Elements offers will find DVD Architect Studio a very powerful and yet inexpensive alternative. And, no, you can't design the menus in DVD Architect Studio and use them in Premiere Elements.

BTW, my soon-to-be-released tutorial batch just happens to include a free tutorial on getting your finished movie to DVD Architect for authoring!

We should be releasing the latest batch of new Muvipix materials in the next week or so.

Hi Steve & Bob
Thanks for the quick reply, yes Steve that is what we are on about. Basically how we get our finished movie to DVD Architect for make
use of the DVD Menus. Just did a little playing around in DVD Architect and love the capabilities it offers with DVD Menus. Just wondered if the menus
could be exported into PE, but understand fair enough we can't. Eagerly await your tutorial on getting the finished movie to DVD Architect.
Will look at getting your book but will wait till we get to the states and order it there.
Thanks again
BG & LN :-D
