3D Anaglyph Recipe

It seems the other video editors have some kind of 3D editing available now, so why not Premiere Elements. Here is my 3D Anaglyph recipe for Premiere Elements for making a 2D photo or video look 3D. This requires the red/cyan glasses.

3D Anaglyph in Premiere Elements:

Drag a photo or video to the timeline in a DV-AVI project (should work the same in other projects).
Drag the same photo or video to the timeline beside the other one so they are against each other.

Effects for Left Side Photo/Video (Red side):
1. Motion: Position: X: -2 pixels relative to default position, e.g. if 360 then make 358.
2. Color Balance (RGB): Red:100, Green:0, Blue:0
3. Corner Pin: Upper Left X: -15 relative, Upper Right X: -15 Relative, Lower Left X: +5 relative, Lower Right X: +5 relative. No changes in the Y column.

Right Side Photo/Video (Cyan side):
1. Color Balance (RGB): Red:0, Green:100, Blue:100

Transition:
1. Additive Dissolve: Drag it so that it is centered on the cut. Then change the properties: Start Point:50, End Point:50
2. Drag the left edge of the transition all the way to the left so that it covers the entire left photo/video. You don't have to do anything to the right edge of the transition.

Finally:
Trim the right (cyan) side photo/video on it's left edge by dragging the left edge of the clip all the way to the right until nothing is left. After you let go, there will be only one frame on the cyan side sticking out. You'll have to zoom all the way into the timeline to see it. This is necessary for video. Without this step the frames from the left (red) and right (cyan) side won't match up.

Now put on your 3D anaglyph glasses to see the results.

It does take a long time to render in Premiere Elements.
