Preset Effects for Premiere 9

Specific to Premiere Elements Version 9.

Preset Effects for Premiere 9

Postby jaffeb » Thu Feb 10, 2011 7:24 pm

I watched a tutorial about applying a preset zoom and a preset pan to a still photo. The tutorial showed that both effects could be placed on the same slide. The result was that the picture moved onto the frame and then zoomed in all in one fluid motion.
I have tried to recreate this with Premiere 9 on my mac, but when I place one effect on the other, the second effect replaces the first.
Was this feature disabled on 9, or am I doing something wrong?
I have a ton of slides to put into a film and was hoping to save some time by using the presets.

Any thoughts?

It worked in version 4 and was removed in version 7, sorry to say. We keep hoping it will come back as that was a very nice and neat little trick.

Welcome to Muvipix jaffeb :wcm:

For quick pan and zoom I recommend the pan and zoom theme. I will be coming out with a tutorial sometime soon :)
