Open Paint Shop Pro > click on file > click on "Batch Conversion".

Thanks Sidd for trying to help me but I posted this query on Photoshop Pro and I have Photoshop Elements. Delay in replying is because I had difficulty logging in for about a week.
Cab you help or should I ask the question in Photoshop Elements forum?

We're a bit confused, Robbie. Are you asking about Photoshop Pro CC, Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro? You mention all three.

I know of no program called Paint Shops Pro Elements 13 for Mac.

Steve, hello again. Not been too busy this last year but starting again on editing video and including some photos. Sorry for the mistake, must be a "sign" I guess!
The photos that I would like to include in my project were created in Roxio -Paint shop Pro- file ending .psp. I changed to Elements when I changed from Windows to Apple.
Now before I can include them in my project I need to change file type from .psp to any that can be included in Elements, say JPG or whatever.
So far I cannot seem to get Photoshop Elements to change a format. Maybe it can only be done in Photoshop Pro, which I do not have.
Hope this clarifies my question and apologies for using Forum for Photoshop Pro.

On thinking back I think the Roxio program used was Vdeostudio

PSP is a proprietary format, Robbie. That means it's no universal; it's unique to the program that created it.

So you'll need to use your Roxio program to convert the PSP to a more universal format (like a TIF or JPG) before you'll be able to open it in Photoshop Elements.

Thank you so much for your reply, not the reply that I wanted to hear.
I no longer have Videostudio, which has now changed name and has an add on to Photoshop, because it does not work on Apple IMac.
The reason that I wrote originally that I thought I saw listed amongst the file conversion with Photoshop was .psp. Maybe that only refers to the bundle of Paintshop included with latest version from Roxio.
Thanks again
Robbie

You can always download Irfanview freeware program www.irfanview.com It's free and can read this format. From there you can convert to any format Photoshop will take. Not sure if you can save all the layers created in PSP.

You can also download the latest Paint Shop Pro and do your conversion from psp to jpg. They have a trial period so you need to do that conversion prior to the trial expiring.
