Mom, Christmas is not Christmas until your holiday photo shoot is posted. As always it just keeps getting better and better. Happy Holidays to you and Dad and the family.

This year's creations with the grands. The grandson visited us before I did the grands' photos. I purchased the backgrounds from Etsy.

Very nice! I especially like the one named Santa Trees. I hope these will be treasured keepsakes for your grandchildren. :TU:

Thank you guys! The grandson is 3 1/2 and doesn't sit still. I was able to click away with continuous lights and not wait for a speed light to refresh. I salvaged 3 photos of him out of about 25. For the grandgirls I had a 2nd camera on a tripod to capture video of behind the scenes of the xmas photoshoot. I haven't edited it yet. After I get their photos, I have each one take their turn behind the camera. Hopefully they will catch the video/photo bug!

Mom that is so cool, Shots look great as usual. Never would have known unless you said something. But the color and creativity is outstanding. NICE

Thanks Sidd! The lighting is rather flat which is good because I can then paint in shadows on the subjects to match the lighting in the background file. The background files were lighter and I added a few color corrections to paint in the photos. One is a bluish action that takes day to night. I also paint in Selective Color layer playing with the neutrals. It is all on layers and I can delete if I don't like it or lower the opacity or paint in less/more. Trial and error.

Your family are such willing participants. Mine all have a case of social anxiety or better put.... I wish that dude with camera would please leave the room. :ha:

All in all cool shot and not sure why but it feels spring like. Thanks for posting.

I shot poses for 2 composite projects and the key is to work fast! The 12yo's window of camera days are slowing closing shut. I have to pose her keeping in mind her 12yo almost teen status. They all 3 like to chimp the shots and take turns taking photos. I had blown up a few balloons to toss around the younger two had me take photos of them doing tricks with the balloons. They did enjoy making the composites and ask me to retake it they don't like their expression.
