Tis the season of composites! I made over a dozen this year for family and friends. Here are a few. Some I build from scratch and some I buy backgrounds at Etsy. Matching colors and tone in Photoshop. It is much easier if posed correctly to match the scene. Getting the light and dark to match or the reds/whites to match can be tricky.

Thank you Steve, Bob & Sidd! It starts with the posing and I like flat light. That way I can add contrast where needed in PS with Curves. Lots of clipping adjustment layers. Here are two behind the scenes. The selfie with the reindeer background is a flat matte image. The zip line is more saturation and contrast.

thanks Dave and Chuck! It has become our tradition with the grands. When I pose them I don't give them full details so they are surprised at the final image. Merry Christmas to you too!

I wish I had that talent. Your pictures seem so natural and like it is really happening. You sure have a GREAT style for this. And how cool is it that the grands have such a really cool memory of childhood. The other kids at school are gonna be jealous, or it might make for a great fundraiser for their school. Custom Momoffduty photo shoot. Bidding starts at $500...... lol

Happy New Year

Thanks Sharon! Hopefully I spelled your name correctly. The grands look forward to the creations. Fun to do something creative with them. I made 16 composites this year for friends & family.

The background rabbit with frame is from my composite group. I added my pup 2 photos and background in the frame. I shot the pups paws thru a window and had his hat photo from last year.
