Photoshop CS6

Postby MGadAllah » Thu Jan 26, 2023 12:23 am

Hi,
I've never used Adobe Photoshop ever before.
I have a working license for adobe master collection CS6.
Also, have a set of courses from Lynda.
So, does learning this old version and using it in 2023 valid?
Thanks,
Mohamed

Hello Mohamed.

I am still using Photshop CS6 and it works perfectly.

There may be some 'enhancements' available in the CC version - I don't know what they might be - but the CS6 version does everything that I need. :-D
AMD Ryzen 3900x 12C/24T, ASUS x570 mobo, Arctic Liquid Freezer ll 280, Win11 64 bit, 64GB RAM, Radeon RX 570 graphics, Samsung 500GB NVMe 980 PRO (C:), Samsung 970 Evo SSD (D:), Dell U2717D Monitor, Synology DS412+ 8TB NAS, Adobe CS6.

You may want to install and activate it soon.
Activation servers for CS4 have been shut down, and it may not be too long before activation servers for CS5 and CS6 are also be shut down.
