These just keep getting better and better.

Not sure if you considered it but this but that last book picture would be a great flyer for the kids school for their summer reading program. Not that you want to make flyers for the school but I just think they are soo good.

Thanks guys! Funny how it all sorta popped into my head. I was thinking about books flying and it took off how I wanted the curve. I had 3 other buildings in mind, but they didn't have the Harry Potter feel. Looking thru my archives I forgot about the Art Museum building photo.

We had the girls a couple of days. On the last day I asked about their summer reading. The youngest didn't have any and the 9yo said she hasn't finished hers. School starts this week! If I had known earlier I would have told them to pack the books.

One of this year's Christmas composites. Over 40 layers in Photoshop of elements, color, shadows/highlights, hair additions, etc. We had to work fast to get the grands in place and take the photo. This was the end of a 2 hour photo session with one snack break.

YEAHHHHH, I was wondering when these were gonna drop. Mom you are just plain good at doing these. 40 Layers... ??? :ha: I would never have guessed. The image looks so clear and sharp.

I wish we lived closer and I wish you were my Grandma.... lol

Very well done and thank you for sharing.

Thanks guys! I was set up in the basement for family photos with 2 lights. To get the above shot I thought about using a ladder, but would have been awkward to get the photo. Instead we brought my lights upstairs and I went to the 2nd story balcony to get this shot. We had to move the side table and daughter had to hold one of the lights. That was the last photo of the day.

For the other 2 composites I bought backgrounds from Etsy. The sleigh I wanted the 2 little ones holding onto the sleigh, but the ratio wasn't correct when I assembled. After doing composites of the girls for several years now, they are good at taking direction on the posing. I either show them with a sketch or with the sleigh I described what they were doing in the photo.
