Wanted to Covert some old VHS Tapes to Digital Media.
Did some searching on the Forum.
I viewed Steve's very nice tut on the Subject.
Have order the Diamond Capture from Amazon.
While I am Waiting for the Card to Arrive does

Have any Helpful Suggestions.

Your results should look as good as the originals. That said, don't expect a lot from VHS.

VHS video was only about 75% the resolution of standard definition video -- which itself is less than 1/4 the resolution of today's high-def. So it's relatively low resolution. Also, early VHS camcorders didn't do a particularly good job of capturing color.

So, assuming your tapes are in good condition, you should get pretty good results. Just don't expect it to look even as good as today's phone video.
