3D Camera Tracking

I was wondering...I've been experimenting with the free Voodoo camera tracker (1.1.0 beta) with excellent results (once I got the hang of it). After tracking, I load it into Blender, generate virtual characters, and watch them move right along with the live footage. I export from Blender an image sequence with alpha and import it along with the footage into AE and voila!! So, has anyone had actual comparative experience with Voodoo and also any of the commercially available (and affordable) trackers such as PFHoe or Syntheyes? I would be willing to invest some money in one of these commercial products if it greatly excels over Voodoo, but so far, I'm not finding any good reason to do so. If anyone has actual experience, I'd appreciate some thoughts on this. Thanks, Dale
