Graphic Cards After effects

Postby thhult » Wed Jul 16, 2014 12:44 pm

Hi,
I have AMD Radeon HD 8570. Is it any problem with this card for After Effect CC 2014.
Regards
Thomas

AMD video cards do not support CUDA but they do support OpenGL. Only one feature of After Effects uses CUDA and that's the Ray Traced 3D rendering feature. With your card, you can still use this feature but it will use the cpu to do the calculations in software. All the other gpu acceleration in After Effects uses OpenGL so you should be fine.
